I graduated from Indiana University!!
Where the heck have I been?!?!?!?!?! I know, I know, I'm sorry. But I'm back, and hopefully back to a semi-regular schedule. Well, actually, nothing is regular--everything has changed. There is so much that I need to fill you in on. It will all come in time, but for now, let me just list some things!
My Search for a Full-Time Job
I've applied a few places, put myself out there, and been perfecting my resume constantly. When I graduate in May I want to have a full-time job lined up. I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking for--but, I do know that I want to be successful in whatever I do and have the opportunity to learn, grow, and lead.
March 2016 Goals
I prefaced last month's goal post with how it felt so good to accomplish all of the goals you have set out for yourself, but that being said, it also feels so bad when you don't accomplish anything that you hoped for. This past month was a busy one for me, and I am going to use March as a good recuperating (spring cleaning?) month for me!
Blogging while in College
Where have I been? It's been two weeks since I posted on my blog!!! I try to keep a consistant schedule, and I would say that I do a pretty good job of posting regularly, but these past few weeks (aka. basically the entire month of February) have really gotten away from me.
Tea Time No. 011
This was a very fun and productive week for me. I probably drank too much caffeine, am on the verge of a wicked migraine, and should probably try to calm down, but I just love it when I get a productivity high like I did this week.
Tea Time No. 010
This was a super stressful week for me. Or at least the beginning of the week was. Then S's family showed up for an extended weekend visit that made everything better. I'm so glad that I get to share this journey with all of you on my blog, because life is full of ups and downs, and nothing is ever perfect.
Create | My Word of the Year
As a new New Year's tradition, I have picked out a word that will shape and lead my life in the year to come. This year I chose the word create because this is a very pivotal time in my life right now where I am building and shaping who I am becoming. I will be graduating college, finding my place in a new job, building a career, making new friends, shaping a new lifestyle for myself, and creating a future.
February 2016 Goals
I accomplished most of my January goals, and nothing (seriously nothing) feels better than reaching your goals and improving yourself! This month I have high aspirations as well. I want to do some new things and finally finish things that I had put my mind to do long ago. I cannot wait to see what February brings!
My Journaling Routine
The first step in journaling is finding a reason that journaling should be in your life. If your journal doesn't have a meaning or a purpose to you, then why are you even going to spend time doing it? I'm one of those people that has tried and failed at journaling over and over again, but when I finally figured out exactly what journaling meant to me I was able to write daily and create so much more positive energy because of it.
Tea Time No. 009
I got sick this past Friday, and that's all I could think about when I thought of this past week. But writing things down made me realize that I actually had a very happy and productive last couple of days. That's what this series is all about--making sure that I see the good in my every day life!
