I’m Danyell Lang.

This is my about page where I’m going to tell you all about me... even though this whole website is about me. She’s conceited, am I right?

Some quick info

I’m married to my best friend of 6 years. His name is Trevor. He is the most supportive, caring, and loving person I’ve ever met. We have two adorable little boys together, Greysen and Forrest. And they are pretty much my entire world. I created my own business and work from home so that I can be with all of them more because I couldn’t image my days without my family by my side.

Family stuff:

In my spare time I like to read. That’s basically all I do. I have a penchant for stories that mix deep emotional journeys with a splash of danger, mystery, and romance. My book app once told me “you’d hug a villain if they had a tragic backstory” and honestly, I don’t think they’re wrong. If I’m not reading (or thinking about reading) I’m probably journaling or maybe making a cute reel/tiktok.

Personal stuff:

I’ve officially had my business for over 5 years. It’s called LVP Studios, and we offer photo and video services for weddings and families. I can truly say that I love what I do--the work, the people, and the experiences. But what I really love most is that I’m my own boss who can decide when and if I want to work. I love that I can hammer out a billion things in one day and then not work again all week.

We’re officially at that part in the About Me page where you have to read a big block of text if you want to know any more about my backstory. I’ll do my best to make it entertaining.

I started this blog while I was in college back in 2012. I can’t believe that that means I’ve had my little space on the internet for well over 10 years now. Through those years it has changed immensely, from its design to its purpose to how I felt about it, but in the end it always comes back to me wanting to share about my life.

Creating this blog is actually the reason I changed my major from Psychology to Informations. I became obsessed with computers and wound up getting a job in tech (where I met my husband). While I still love coding and designing and creating things online, my passions are a bit different now. So, I left my corporate job in 2019 and started my own business doing photo & video for weddings and families.

Now I get to do what I love while staying home with my family. I get to be creative and fluid in what I achieve every single day. I love being my own boss and having that control over my life. I’m a firm believer that everyone’s life is interesting, and I strive daily to give my friends, family, and anyone stopping by a glimpse at our raw, imperfect life.

So, what’s the future look like for me? Well, hopefully more babies (as long as I can convince my husband). We’re currently in the process of building our dream house which I’m sure I’ll have a whole series about on here too. We are also looking to buy a Class C RV, so if you know of one for sale, hit me up! My husband and I want to travel the states while we homeschool our kids and work when we want to work along the way. Spending time with family is super important to us, so you’ll notice all of these future goals revolve around that.
