Documenting during the holidays
Any fellow memory keeping addicts out there know that the holidays are an excellent time to be scrapbooking, journaling, and taking tons of pictures and video! I find that documenting the holidays can be one of the easiest times, and often times it’s very expected. If you’re new to the memory keeping world, now is a great time to start because for some strange reason people are more okay with you take 100000s of pictures during the holidays than they are any other time.
Vlogmas: Week 3 & 4
Well, we're finally done with our first week back at work after a fun filled week of family and traveling. We missed the opportunity to share our week 3 vlogmas recap, but now it's time for week 4, so I thought I'd bunch it all together.
Vlogmas: Week 2
This past week was a little rough! But we posted videos almost every day like we promised! I am actually really impressed with how well we are keeping up with this, and it's inspiring me to make more videos for Trevor and I in the future. You can check out our entire playlist of videos here!
Vlogmas: Week 1
Vlogmas is going great! Check out our entire playlist of videos here. If you don't know what vlogmas is--essentially, its a YouTube thing where you film a new vlog every day until Christmas (or if you're feeling really go-getter, every day for all of December). Trevor and I decided to give this a go on our vlog channel and are absolutely loving it.
Decorating for Christmas
I am so excited to have new decor for the holidays up at our house! Decorating for Christmas always makes me feel like I’m filling a void that I never knew I had. My house feels so warm and inviting even though it’s so new and big and barely full of furniture. I love how Christmas makes everyone feel and the cozy feeling that it brings into your home. I’m glad we finally have our decorations up.
Christmas 2016
Christmas couldn't have been any more perfect. I got to spend a few days celebrating with my love--opening our own gifts, starting our own traditions, and making memories together. Then we drove off to his family's place in Kansas, and finally wrapped it all up (all the way til New Year's) with my family in Indiana.Christmas couldn't have been any more perfect. Blogmas Day 18 - A new hairstyle!
It was time for something fresh and new, and that's what I got. I love my new hair do even though it's not even fully done yet! I can't wait to get it finished up and play with it! New hair always makes me feel so good and fresh.
Blogmas Day 17 - The first snow
This was one of the first weekends that I've had at home to relax in awhile. Lately I feel like all I've done on the weekends is run from place to place, work, clean, move things around, etc. etc. etc. But, finally Trevor and I got a weekend to spend doing whatever we want to do. And finally, I SLEPT IN!
Blogmas Day 16 - Cards Against Humanity
On Friday we celebrate! This was our last Friday before the Holiday, so we decided to spend it with friends. We invited another couple over and ate pizza, drank alcoholic beverages, and played Cards Against Humanity. It was so fun and we laughed so much.
Blogmas Catch-up (Day 13, 14, 15)
Okay, so it's time to play some catch up. I have been away for a few days now, and sadly I don't have a whole lot to share. I haven't been feeling very well lately--my head has been bothering me some. And I just needed to come home from work and relax. It's been a lot of Netflix binging and early nights.
