Greysen turned two back in September, but I’m just now getting around to editing and uploading these photos. This sweet boy was born during busy wedding season when I’m consumed with work year after year, so his sessions are always put on the back burner, haha!
On the day of his birthday party we head over to the studio to take these photos really quick. We used his birthday party decorations as props in the photos, and I LOVE how they turned out. His second birthday was actually his golden birthday so we did a “Gold Mining” theme. I wanted to incorporate trucks and machinery since that’s what he was obsessed with at the time, but still wanted to keep to the “golden” theme too. Also, his favorite thing to do is show everyone that he’s two by holding up two fingers so we really wanted to capture that through pictures. That’s the reason his birthday shirt has a hand holding up two fingers, too.
He is always such a good sport for photos and gives me lots of cheeses. We were able to do all of these photos with no tears, but at the end of the session he did say “mama all done pictures.”
