Blogmas Day 6 - An above average Tuesday
Today Trevor told me he supported all of my goals, and we set out to achieve them. We went on a walk, I got my nails done, he did some Christmas shopping, we watching the KU basketball game, and we did housework together. What an above average Tuesday!
Blogmas Day 5 - A day off
Trevor and I called off work today in advance because we knew that we would be exhausted after the weekend. We mostly spent the day relaxing and hanging out. I dressed comfy and didn't put any make-up on. It was definitely my type of day.
Blogmas Day 4 - Shopping weekend (Part 2)
We finished our shopping, got a few gifts for ourselves, and sadly had to say goodbye to Trevor's family. It was a wonderful weekend, and I can't wait to do it again next year.
December 2016 Goals
Yay!! Let's make some goals. The year is almost over, but it's not too late to finish off with some great month goals. I also need to reflect on my goals that I made for the entire year--so much has changed, and I'm not sure I stuck to a good goals plan. There's always next year.
Blogmas Day 3 - Shopping weekend (Part 1)
This day was full of shopping, family, and food. It was fun to spend time with Trevor's family while shopping for gifts for mine. I really like his family, and we get along great. The day was good, and I got almost all of my family's gifts done!!
Blogmas Day 2 - Getting ready for an epic weekend
Some final apartment cleaning, meeting some of the family, drinking a few margaritas, and more!!
Blogmas Day 1 - Cleaning the apartment
Welcome to Blogmas, a journal of images and collection of thoughts starting the first of December until Christmas! You can expect a new post every morning of what I accomplished the day before. I am hoping that these posts can be a nice way for me to document this holiday away from family via pictures and little videos.
Thanksgiving 2016
Trevor and I made the trip all the way back to Indiana for Thanksgiving with my family. My parent's were hosting for the entire extended clan!! This was time for Trevor to meet EVERYONE. We had a great time and loved every moment that we could spend with my family.
Decorating the Christmas Tree
I will always have a Christmas tree for all of my childhood ornaments. No matter how old I get, or how trendy it is to have themed Christmas trees, I will always showcase my bloody snowman that I made when I was two, and my recycled girl scout ornaments made out of CDs
We made some food
Trevor and I made vegetarian stuffed shells--3 kinds of cheese, lots of ricotta, spinach, and marinara sauce.
