New books I’m looking forward to this winter

I’ve scoured the internet for all of the new releases from Q1 of this year and made a list of some of them that I’m looking forward to most based on my reading tastes. These books are definitely going to be added to my TBR—an ever growing list of all of the things I want to read soon.

I’m most looking forward to:

🩶 Innamorata (House of Teeth, 1), Ava Reid

I’m a big Ava Reid fan after reading the Study in Drowning series. This book is marketed as a visionary and atmospheric gothic fantasy about necromancy, vengeance, and soul-consuming love. It is planned to be the first in a duology.

🩶 In Her Own League (Windy City Spin-off), Liz Tomforde

This spin-off from the Windy City series follows a side character we saw often throughout the books. At this point I’m just planning to read everything that Liz Tomforde publishes.

🩶 Game On (Into the Darkness, 3), Nevessa Allen

Game On is an enemies-to-lovers dark romance with morally grey characters. Check your trigger warnings before you pick-up this book. I loved the first two in this series (especially the first one), and am so excited to dive back into this dark world.

🩶 Wolf Worm, T. Kingfisher

According to Goodreads, this book is a gothic horror novel set in 1899 about a scientific illustrator named Sonia Wilson who takes a job in a secluded North Carolina manor, only to uncover dark secrets involving parasitic maggots, strange animal behavior, and a reclusive scientist's deadly experiments.
