The New Year is a time to start something fresh, learn a little bit, and improve on your skills. In 2016 a lot of us have made a resolution to read more, and that's what this book club it all about. If you're interested in having a reason to keep reading, participating in some fun discussions, and meeting new people PLUS making new friends, then this is just the book club for you!
The Resolutioners Book Club is an online book club that comes together via Goodreads.
Our goal is to read one book per month. This is a club where everyone can pop in in order to try and keep each other accountable for their reading and inspire others to find new books to read, as well.
The reason that we only read one book a month is to allow all members adequate time to finish the book, to give fast readers a chance to still have time to read their own leisurely books, and to allow plenty of time for multiple discussions.
Each month we will take a poll and decide what to read, create discussions to talk about the characters/plot/etc., and review our final thoughts. To kick the year off right, we are starting with the Pulitzer Prize winner and 2014 Goodreads Choice Award winner All the Light We Cannot See. Very briefly, it is about "a blind French girl and a German boy whose paths collide in occupied France as both try to survive the devastation of World War II."
