Meet Jules | Blogger Series

Blogging isn't easy. Sometimes you have to go on a long journey to figure out what works for you. I started out with a blog called Danyzell, and then transformed it into what you see today. Our guest, Jules, went through an interesting journey to get where she is today. Blogging can take you places you've never been, and it can teach so much about what you didn't realize you didn't know.

Meet Jules!

First off, tell us a little bit about yourself and your blog.

I've been married to my hubby for just over 8 years now, and we have a "spirited" 4-year-old daughter, who was actually the catalyst that started my blogging journey! (More on that later!)

CandidlyJules.com is where my heart is! My focus is to help bloggers (new and not-so-new!) build a loyal audience, create killer content, and develop personalized strategies that will help them create passive income online.

What inspired you to start blogging?

Once I had my daughter, I was all about saving money (because let's face it, kids make you broke as a joke, fast!), and started a couponing/frugal living blog. Originally, I was just tired of sending a million emails to friends and family who wanted to know how I was doing it (couponing), so I put it all in one spot...true story, my first blog spawned from pure and utter laziness! Things just developed from there, and within about 2 years I was earning a full time income from home, had over 11,000 fans on Facebook, and was loving the "laptop lifestyle" I'd discovered!

How did you get where you are?

Eventually I outgrew my first blog, and decided to start a new one focused around mom-life (parenting, crafts, recipes, etc.) and it grew quickly since I was able to skip all the trial and error of the first one. While developing this new blog, I discovered my love for the process - building the site, branding, planning content, just the strategy of it all! This was my lightbulb moment, and

CandidlyJules.com came from that! I spent years figuring out what works and what doesn't. Playing with all of the advice that's floating around out there, and sorting through the trash to get to the treasure...this was my chance to share all of it!

What do you hope to achieve with your blog?

I spent so many years studying, reading, taking courses, and learning from other bloggers, and I want to cut down that timeline for other bloggers and biz owners!

CandidlyJules.com is a culmination of all that I've learned over the last 5+ years of working online, and I want to share it with others so they can focus their energy on what works, what makes sense, what makes MONEY, and take the guesswork out of it!

How has blogging changed your life?

Without blogging, my life would be completely different! Blogging allowed me to stay home after my maternity leave to raise my daughter. It allowed me to be flexible enough to move to a new city so my hubby could pursue a career he really wanted! Above all, I've made so many life-long friends with people I've connected with through my blogs, and that's just incredible to me! I never could have guessed that this would be my life before my daughter was born, and now I can't picture it any other way!

As always, I want to give a BIG thank you to Jules for blogging here today! She is such an intelligent and inspirational person, and I hope you all can take a look at her work and learn something new. Please don't forget to check out her blog and let her know that you found her via Danyell Bailey's Blog--I'm sure she'd love that!

She will be revealing every step and secret that she's learned over the last 5+ years about building an income as an "infopreneur," including (but certainly not limited to!)...validating your ideas so you don't waste time creating something nobody wants, growing your audience with loyalty and credibility, putting systems in place to automate your business, and creating amazing content to maximize the potential of your blog + business!! Sign up to be alerted as soon as her site goes live!
