An Update

I think it's good to pop in here from time to time and share something a little more personal. I've been craving the opportunity to share a little something about myself. A lot has been going on, and a lot is changing and rearranging. I want to share all of this growth with you so.....It's time for a little update!

What's been going on?

Lots. That's my answer. Okay, I'll give you a little more detail. Where should I start? The beginning?

First off, I started school yesterday. I'm officially a senior in college and the pressure to graduate is already killing me. I can't drop or fail or back out of any classes this semester, and I HAVE to make sure that everything goes as planned. To say I'm a little stressed is an understatement.

But, while I'm stressed, I'm still super excited. I can't wait to be done and get a "big girl" full-time job. Working with IT Training has been a blast, and my dream is to continue working with them... or at least working with UITS here at Indiana University

As for IT Training, my job as Admin Coordinator has taught me a lot about who I am. I love being in charge of something that is all mine, I love having responsibilities that truly matter to a company, and I love being at the office every day. I work at the office every morning and get the opportunity to talk to all of the other staff and learn more about what is going on behind the scenes of IT Training.

And to top it all off, I've taken on a new responsibility with a wonderful company called The Design Consortium. This group is all about making your blog, website, and social media jobs easy and seamless. You can go to their website to get everything all at once. If you're interested in a new design--they have a graphic design for you. How about a marketing plan--that's where I come in. I have taken the job to partner with The Design Consortium and sell my social media services. It's not live yet, but trust me, you'll know when!

With work and now school keeping me really busy, I've already noticed a lack in my blogging and social media. While this is only day 2 of school, I know it is only going to get worse before I get a routine down and it gets better. Please be patient with me as I figure things out.

What are the plans for my blog?

The plans are the same as the plans have always been. While this blog is continually evolving as I grow, I have always maintained my love to write and share my thoughts. I've been attempting a few new things that might or might now work, and I've been changing around my posting schedule in order to make it more consistent. But with change you need time and patience, so I hope you can stick by my side.

A few new things have popped up lately, like Follow Me Friday and my Learn to Live Online Series, and I'm trying to keep these two series consistent. That being said, your feedback is much appreciated. So, feel free to take a look at someone of my past posts and let me know what you think by leaving a comment or sending me an email.

Also, I've recently resurrected my email newsletter. If you crave the online world and want to harness the skill of making a living online, then sign up to receive my email newsletter. You'll get weekly updates of some behind the scenes things, free printable, and loads of interested facts about the online world.

There are lots of things going on in my life lately, and the ones I mentioned are not the end. I have taken on the responsibility of President for a Marketing Technology Club, I have a year long capstone project, and a puppy and a boyfriend who crave attention too. I love living a busy life, and I can't wait to share everything with you guys. What have you been up to?
