Blogmas Day 6 - An above average Tuesday
Welcome to Blogmas, a journal of images and collection of thoughts starting the first of December until Christmas! You can expect a new post every morning of what I accomplished the day before. I am hoping that these posts can be a nice way for me to document this holiday away from family via pictures and little videos.
Today work was exhausting as I tried to catch up on everything that I missed over the weekend and my day off on Monday. Trevor always does a good job of keeping me calm and making me smile--like the picture below that he randomly sent me saying "Iron Man says HI!!!"
After work Trevor and I went on a walk around Cerner. It was cold, but we needed to do it and get ourselves active and motivated again. Today he said to me, "I read your blog and I support all of your goals... let's do it." I can't even put into words how much that meant to me.
Trevor had a bit of Christmas shopping to do, and I wanted to get my nails re-done. So, after our walk we decided to head over to the Legends. They have all of the Christmas lights up and the beautiful tree decorated where the fountain normally is. It was really lovely!!
When we came home from our little excursion at the Legends, it was perfect timing to watch the KU vs UMKC game. During commercials, Trevor got the sweeper out and started doing some house work! I'm so thankful for this man in my life!!! I got up during commercials and started doing some dishes and took the trash out as well. We really are motivational and supportive of one another, and it makes me so happy!
