May 2015 Goals

Did that month fly by or was that just me? Finals have been rough, but I'm almost done! How's everything going with you? I hope you're pumped for summer--I am, and I can't wait for what my future holds.

What you might have missed last month:

Don't miss anything by following me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Last month's goals:

+ Read a book (finish the book I've started).
Soooooo, yeah that didn't happen--looks like I'll be adding it to my goals for this month. You never realize how much you fail at something, but you just have to get up and try it again. I WILL read more this year!
+ Gain 20 Bloglovin' followers.
I have 22 Bloglovin' followers and my blog has 14!! This is exciting news because it's a big step up from the ONE follower I had last month. Thank you all for liking my content and subscribing--it really means a lot to me. And if you haven't started following my on Bloglovin' then get one it!
+ Run 3 times a week.
I started working on this goal a little late in the month. S and I are starting on "The Party Purge," a diet and workout routine to help us prep for my birthday coming soon. If you want to know more about what we're doing to kick our butts in shape, then comment below and I'll write a journal about it over on my Tumblr.
+ Journal once a day.
Once a day, no. But I've started journaling, doodling, and making lists way more than I ever have. While I don't have a se journal or time to write in it, I've been able to express myself and clear my head in other ways.
+ Reach out and make a blogger friend.
I've encountered plenty of blog buds but haven't had the opportunity to stir much of a relationship out of it.
+ Keep the house tidy.
Yes, yes, yes! I love saying that this goal is mastered. While the house slips from day to day, it still looks way more maintained than normal. I'm really starting to get a good morning routine that works for me, so that really helps.

May Goals

Summer is here and I'm done with school, so May is going to be a great time for me to grow myself personally and professionally without all of the distractions from school. I can't wait to work up a new routine, and start mastering my life without homework deadlines and classes to attend. Work is going to be my focus--and that's what I'm most excited for. These are the steps I want to make this month in order to complete my yearly goals.

+ Read a book.
+ Take at least one picture a day.
+ Work less from home.
+ Gain 20 Twitter followers.
+ Try two new coffee shops.
+ Create an awesome summer routine.

Leave a comment below and let me know what you are hoping to accomplish this month. Have you set goals for yourself?
